'Sonic X Shadow Generations' Limited Art from Yui Karasuno and Tyler McGrath

This month saw the release of the latest Sonic the Hedgehog console game, 'Sonic X Shadow Generations' to acclaim from critics and fans.  We haven't got our game on just yet but it looks super fun - paying homage to so many Sonic titles and bringing the darkness in the year of Shadow.  So we're thrilled to present two artworks that mark the occasion of this release. 'Shadow Evolved' by Yui Karasuno

We are huge fans of artist Yui Karasuno, as are Sonic fans too. All of her art reproductions have sold out in record time here at Moor-Art Gallery.  We were recently offered the opportunity to print her newest original piece celebrating Shadow's Evolved form.  It's a beautiful expression of the character quite literally in full flight. Sumi-e (black ink painting) indicates one of the art forms in which subjects are painted with black ink in all possible gradations ranging pure black to the lightest shades achievable by dissolving ink in water.  

Our museum-grade 'PRIMO' edition prints are giclée printed (ink nozzle sprayed) onto the highest quality papers.  For this artwork, we bring out its cultural qualities by reproducing the original onto Awagami 'swirling fibre' Unryu Thin Japanese Washi paper.  It's a stunning and head turning piece complete with Gallery embossed marque, hand numbering and includes an Official Certificate of Authenticity. 'Speed Highway Chao Rescue' by Tyler J McGrath

Tyler's artwork has wowed us for a long time here at the gallery.  His work takes on the look of retro Sonic covers and classic marketing of the 16-bit era, bringing it up to date with dynamism and fan-favourite characters from all areas and periods of the Sonic canon.

For the PRIMO edition of this artwork, we are giclée printing onto smooth Matt Ultra paper by FotoSpeed and are including a Certificate of Authenticity, hand-signed by the artist! Limited to 15 pieces worldwide.
