This imbues art with a vitality and vibrancy impossible to achieve without the care and attention a gallery/artist/print press relationship provides. Our giclée printers are Fine Art Trade Guild accredited.

Prints are carefully positioned on Kraft with acid-free tissue paper placed between each print. They are then expertly rolled by hand and shipped in a sturdy, thick-walled tube. Caps are taped securely for extra protection during shipping.
Limited edition prints are ‘limited’ in the sense that only a certain predefined number of total prints will be released, after which they will never be reprinted. Each limited edition print is numbered by hand, signifying its unique identity as part of that finite quantity. That means once these prints are gone, it’s forever!
Once the predefined edition is sold out, all numbered prints are sold and won't be available again. That's what makes the prints so special.
Very occasionally we sell spares (that were ordered in case of damage), as part of our Mystery Tube sale. The sale of these is very rare and communicated via newsletter/social media.
Typically limited edition prints retain or increase in value over time, however this depends on several factors such as the rarity, demand and popularity of the work/artist. We always recommend investing in art you love regardless of perceived value in the collector marketplace.
Unlike many posters you see online, the majority of our art is OFFICIAL. Meaning we've worked in collaboration with the companies and artists who brought the original games or movies into your life.
These products carry the copyright line of each company. It's an official nod of approval (as well as legal necessity) and becomes a part of that brand's history.
Instead of posters you see churned out en-masse, ours are limited to a set number of prints. Once they're gone, it's forever. Heightening a sense of ownership. The prints are hand-numbered individually and many ship with a Certificate of Authenticity. Some including the artist's signature.
Unlike the flimsy paper you might see on the high street or at conventions, we work with experienced professionals who use archival materials that will last a lifetime. Created via specialised printing techniques; from hands-on screen-printing through meshes by hand, to the latest in large-format printers that spray ink in ultra-fine droplets for incredible museum-grade detail and world-leading colour reproduction. Our prints truly earn the term 'fine-art'.
Certified archival inks and papers have been lab tested and are guaranteed to last 100+ years without yellowing or fading when cared for appropriately.
We work with both established and new artists all over the world, linked by a passion for the subject they are illustrating. They're fans first and foremost, working with Moor-Art specifically to create art that speaks to them and other fans in ways that a lot of promotional art doesn't. We're also artist-owned, making it a real co-operative outfit, keeping things grounded and creative at all levels.
Prints are carefully placed on Kraft with acid-free tissue paper placed between each print. They are then expertly rolled by hand and shipped in a sturdy, thick-walled kraft tube. Caps are taped for extra protection. Our smallest prints are sent flat in sturdy, reinforced wraps, with an extra level of protection provided by a sealed cello wrap.
We aim to package and send a dispatch notification within 10 business days of receiving your order for in stock products. This is unless a product is purchased with a pre-order item in the same order.
See here for constantly updated dispatch estimates on specific pre-order items. Allow up to 16 business days for items marked 'printed on demand'. You will be notified via email if we expect fulfilment to take longer than the estimated times. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.
When purchasing a rolled print, we recommend carefully removing it from the tube as soon as possible, and either framing it right away or storing it flat in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated space.
Make sure to always handle prints with clean, dry hands or cotton gloves, and be cautious to avoid touching the printed image. Lift the print gently by holding opposite corners to avoid creases and dents.
Avoid placing the print in direct sunlight for prolonged periods and don't feed prints after midnight.
Not to worry! We take every precaution to prevent damages in transit and it's a rare occurrence. But In the case that it happens please contact us via info@moorartgallery.com within 30 days and we will work with you to find a solution. Be sure to include your order number and a brief summary of the issue in the email, as well as photos of the damaged item.
The nature of limited edition sales means all sales are final. Some of our products are made to order and cannot be canceled once placed. However if you get your item and you feel it isn’t as described, please get in touch with us, including your order number. You can see full details in our Refund Policy.
We'd love to open our doors but we're a gallery only in name and we don't have a physical space for shows. Our presence is currently online only (although we love showing up to cons once in a while). We're based in the UK (but ship Worldwide). Brits love nothing more than tea and biscuits though so If you're around in Suffolk, bring Chocolate Hobnobs to our office HQ.
