Artist Mark Bells returns with explosive 'Sonic the Hedgehog' artwork follow-up

In 2022, we and SEGA celebrated the anniversary of 'Sonic 2' with a great piece of art by illustrator and hedgehog fan, Mark Bell.  Featuring the Tornado piloted by Tails, it was hugely popular, with the variant selling out in minutes and the regular edition not long after.  It has become a real favourite here too.  We knew we had to follow it up with a sister piece for the original Sonic game. On Friday 14th, 6pm BST, that new piece drops - for fans to own and maybe pair with the original Sonic 2 prints.

We're releasing with the same edition sizes as Mark's Sonic 2 artwork. There are 130 hand-numbered regular pieces and 30 hand-numbered colour variants, styled to match the finish from the Sonic 2 art too!

We recently debuted the prints at Vice Press Poster Convention where they went down a treat.  Don't miss out on grabbing the remaining prints online, Friday.

We will also be releasing both colour versions as online exclusive PRIMO prints.  These are Museum-grade and printed via the gicleè process with extra vibrancy and detail, plus each includes a numbered and embossed certificate of authenticity, hand signed by the artist Mark, himself.  They'll also be super-rare and collectible, available for only one hour from 6pm BST / 10am PST and then never again.
